- Providing support to volunteers and organisations through network meetings/gatherings, generating feed back information for evaluation.
- Our monthly good practice guide (currently distributed by email, available on our website and soon to be downloaded to CD) – top tips on topical issues, including, recognising and recruiting volunteers and supporting people with disabilities into volunteering.
- Volunteering fairs and Outreach events (including targeted and themed events) to promote volunteering and recruit volunteers.
- Two supporting staff in the Volunteer Centre in Carlisle – Julie Mosley, Outreach Worker and Judith Holmshaw, Volunteer Centre Coordinator.

- To arrange an organised visit to our Volunteer Centre to shadow and see first hand elements of Good Practice in operation.
