Recruiting and Supporting Disabled Volunteers
The Vassall Centre Trust has been specifically designed to be completely barrier free and have over 16 different disabled organisations working from its centre.
The event aimed to share how a barrier free environment can enable disabled people to volunteer.
We heard experiences of how the Vassall centre has helped disabled people and there were discussions around what we thought the main physical and attitudinal barriers were.
