Northampton Volunteering Centre is the local infrastructure organisation for Northampton. Their primary purpose is to promote and support the development of the voluntary and community sector in Northampton. NVC also supports people in finding suitable volunteering opportunities.
The conference aims to enable organisations to widen their pool of volunteers by supporting and encouraging them to engage with volunteers with additional needs.
Speakers include volunteer management expert Mark Restall and workshops with SCOPE’s national inclusivity team and will provide advice on recruiting, selecting and retaining a broad range of volunteers. It is open to all volunteer-involving organisations in Northamptonshire.
