Developing Good Practice

Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire (VANEL) develops, promotes, informs and supports the local voluntary, not-for-profit and charitable sector.
Voluntary Action North East Lincolnshire held a one day conference to raise awareness of the needs of young people and volunteering.
The main activities were workshops, delegates were able to attend four in the day, and they centred on different parts of the good practice hand book. There was also a range of presentations from a range of different organisations; these included the local councillor who was only 18 years old and the local train to gain team.
During the workshop delegates were able to record ideas and build a folder of guidelines and good practices. VANEL then collated the information and forward it to all participants as reference sheets of guidelines to use within your organisation after the event.
